Next Kojima game, RE:3 remake, more

How’s it going everybody, Adrian Simple here from, bringing you all in gaming for Monday, November 25th. Now this past weekend didn’t have a tremendous amount of news, but there’s definitely stuff to talk explore that is pretty fun, so let’s take a look.

Hideo Kojima teases his next project is horror related

Following the successful launch of Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima has tweeted teasing the plans for his next game. He said that he has begun watching horror movies with the view to make the scariest horror game. He shared that when he was making PT, he rented the movie The Eye, but it was too scary for him to finish. He also was too scared by the package so he literally just took the disc alone. Either way, I’m sure this is exciting for many people because PT was a very popular teaser, and even though he won’t be able to make Silent Hill, I’m sure he’s got lots up his sleeve.

Credible rumour: Resident Evil 3 remake in development

I know we don’t normally do rumours on this show, and now we’ve kinda got two in a row, but truthfully the concrete news was slow. Anyway, it looks like Capcom is currently working on a Resident Evil 3 remake, according to multiple sources. And it has been hinted at in the past, they said that since Resident Evil 2 was successful they would look into doing more. Nonetheless I think this is pretty cool because Resi 2 is on the GOTY list for a lot of people this year, and if they can replicate the quality, then it’ll probably be even better for them since they have a track record now.

Stadia players report Chromecast overheating

Google Stadia is out in the wild for many of those who purchased the Founder’s Edition, and not only has the launch come in with a bit of whimper, but also people have been having some issues. One of the most interesting ones here is that the Chromecast Ultra devices that connect Stadia to your TV have some pretty bad overheating issues. People’s games are crashing in the middle of them playing, and then they can’t touch the Chromecast because of how hot it is. Lots of people on Reddit were having this problem, and then a representative of Google stepped in and said quote “We know any sort of heat on a device can be worrisome, but we can confirm there is no thermal overheating issue with Chromecast Ultra.” I thought this was an interesting response. They basically just said that people were lying, which is a weird way of going about it. Anyway, I’m sure things will be cleared it up by the time it goes to the public majority, I just thought this period of it being out should be way bigger than it has been.

State of Decay 2 heads to Steam next year with full cross play

State of Decay 2 is going to be heading to Steam, after previously being exclusive to the Windows store and the Xbox One. No release date, just early next year, and there are going to be more details on a livestream today the 25th at 3pm Pacific, 6 Eastern. Not only that, but the game will be going full cross-play, so both PC versions and Xbox will be able to connect to each other on the up to four-player co-op. Also, apparently, back in August this game had like 5 million players, which is way more than I expected, so its pretty cool that they can still work on the game in a positive way.

That is all for today, I want to thank you very much for tuning in, and I’d also like to thank Family, Tyler, Craig, and Douglas all for leaving me 5-star reviews on Amazon. As you know I am here every Monday through Friday with news, I’ll be back tomorrow, and until then…Happy Gaming Everyone.
