Dying Light 2, SI6IL, Steamworld Quest, more

How’s it going everybody, Adrian Simple here from The Gaming Observer. It is June 1st, 2019, and there isn’t a tremendous amount of news, so instead of me putting in music and an outro and all the fun stuff, I’m just gonna tell you the bullet points. Thegamingobserver.com if you’d like some links.

First off, Baldur’s Gate, Planescape: Torment and Neverwinter Nights are all getting their enhanced editions ported to all the consoles. They’ll be released individually and in a variety of physical bundles, which will be about $50/bundle. Many of these games already exist on PC so you can check it out.

Next, it was just announced that Square Enix is going to be publishing Dying Light 2 for Techland, instead of Warner Bros who did it for the first game. They are hyping up their E3 appearance as well.

John Romero just released nine new levels for the original Doom, and packaged it together in what he calls SI6IL. It is free, but if you’d like a soundtrack from a band called Buckethead, you can also spring for the paid version.

Lastly, Steamworld Quest just released on PC, originally from the Switch. I encourage you to take a look at this one, it’s highly praised, obviously people love the Steamworld franchise, amd they’ve got a 15% discount until next Friday.

Okay that will be all for today, I hope you didn’t mind that it was barebones but I figured this was better than wasting your time. Talk to you tomorrow, and Happy Gaming everyone.
