How’s it going everybody, Adrian Simple here from thegamingobserver.com and welcome back to your daily gaming update for Wednesday, February 26th. Now my friends, this is the first time this has happened in a while, but today was incredibly slow on news. So today I’m going to have 3 quick stories for you, then I just have a little message for you, and then we’ll call it a day. Let’s take a look.

Black Mesa exiting Early Access on March 5th

After five years in Early Access, Black Mesa will be released on Steam next week, on March 5th. This is a Half-Life 1 remake developed by a third party, which has been in the public sphere for quite a long time. It looks like some of the game is actually new content as well, or perhaps just levels that are fleshed out a bit. Nonetheless, this has been a long time in the making, so perhaps it’s worth having your eye on it.

Temtem sells 500k in one month, lays out content roadmap

The Pokemon inspired MMO Temtem is doing quite well. They sold 500,000 copies in the first month after release. They’ve now shared a roadmap for content, leading up to their launch out of Early Access. In the Spring, they’re hoping to launch a ranked matchmaking mode, a spectator option, in-game chat, and club management, or essentially like a guild system. In the summer they’ll have a new location, 25 new Temtem, and a housing system that lets you have a base of operations. And then finally in the fall, another new islands, an additional 25 temtem, the first ever legendary Temtem, plus achievements and in-game tournaments. So lots to look forward to there, I hope it all works out.

Dota Underlords exits Early Access

And speaking of Early Access, Dota Underlords has now exited out of it after eight months in the program. The launch has brough a new campaign mode, season, battle pass, and cosmetics. Apparently the autobattler genre has lost a lot of popularity, and I’m not sure that this is going to make such a huge splash, but we’ll see how things turn out for Valve.\

THANK YOU!

Ok so like I said that’s all for news, it was a super slow day, so if you’re only here for that you’re welcome to skip now. Before you do though I just want to say thank you very much for participating in the giveaway, it has now concluded and I posted a live draw of the winners on my Youtube channel. So if you want to watch that, youtube.com/thegamingobserver, and the winners have been notified. Before we say goodbye here today, I just wanted to say thank you. If you follow me on Twitter or you listen to the after-show you may be tired of me saying this all the time, but let me say it again here on the main show. I am incredibly grateful for you. Your support, your reviews, your patronage, it has been truly a life changing experience. I’ve been doing this for a year and a half now, and the thing that I never expected was you. The emails and DM’s and every which way that you send me message are always just so full of love and positivity, and that has been far more rewarding than anything else to come out of the Observer.

I’d like to thank you very much for tuning in here today, and thank you to an anonymous user for leaving me a 5-star review on Amazon. I will be back tomorrow with the news, as I am every Monday-Friday, so until tomorrow, Happy Gaming everyone.
